1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, creating an account, purchasing a ticket, or attending Joyful Craft Space, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, along with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not purchase tickets or attend the festival. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and any changes will be communicated via email and posted on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Ticket Purchase

The following conditions apply to all ticket purchases made through the official Joyful Craft Space website or authorised third-party resellers:

• Account Requirement: Purchasers must create or log in to a verified Joyful Craft Space account to complete a purchase. Accurate personal details must be provided.
• Age Requirements: Purchasers must be at least 16 years of age to buy tickets independently. Attendees under 16 must have a linked adult ticket from a responsible person aged 18 or over who will accompany them throughout the event.
• Age Verification: We reserve the right to request proof of age (government-issued ID) for the purchaser and/or attendee at any stage of the process.
• One Person per Ticket: Each ticket is issued for a single named attendee and authorises entry for that person only.
• Pricing: All prices are listed in Japanese Yen (¥) and include applicable consumption tax. Prices are subject to change without notice until a purchase is completed.
• Authorised Resellers: Only purchase tickets through our official website or authorised resellers listed on our site. We are not responsible for fraudulent tickets purchased from unauthorised sources.
• Order Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation email with your order number and e-ticket(s).

3. Ticket Validity

• Date-Specific Entry: Each ticket is valid only for the specific date(s) stated on the ticket. Day passes do not grant access on days other than those specified.
• Non-Transferability After Registration: Once a ticket has been registered to an attendee's name (either at purchase or via the ticket registration process), it is non-transferable except through our official ticket transfer process within the permitted window. See the Refund Policy for transfer details.
• One-Time Entry: Re-entry to the festival site is subject to the rules posted at each stage gate and is not guaranteed.
• No Re-Sale: Tickets may not be resold above face value. We reserve the right to cancel any ticket found to have been resold in contravention of these Terms without refund.
• Ticket Authenticity: We use QR code technology to verify ticket authenticity. Counterfeit, duplicated, or tampered tickets will be rejected, and those presenting them may be refused entry.

4. Entry Requirements

• Photo ID: Accepted forms of ID include passport, national identity card, or driver's licence. The name must exactly match the name on the ticket.
• Wristband: Upon entry, each attendee will receive a wristband that must be worn and visible at all times during the event. Lost or damaged wristbands cannot be replaced.
• Security Screening: All attendees are subject to security screening upon entry, including bag searches and metal detection. Entry may be refused if prohibited items are found.
• Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who appears intoxicated, aggressive, or poses a risk to other attendees or staff.
• Arrival Times: Gates open at 10:00 AM each festival day. Last entry times will be published on our website and app. Late arrival does not entitle the holder to a refund.

5. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited on the festival site. Any person found in possession of prohibited items may be refused entry or ejected from the festival without refund:

Exceptions apply to registered service animals, medical equipment (declared in advance), and items approved by festival management in writing. Please contact us at info@joyfulcraftspace.com if you require a special exemption.

6. Behaviour Policy

• Respect: All attendees must treat fellow festival-goers, performers, and staff with courtesy and respect.
• Zero Tolerance: Any form of sexual harassment, racial, gender, or other discrimination, physical or verbal violence, or threatening behaviour will result in immediate ejection from the festival site without refund, and may be reported to law enforcement.
• Crowd Safety: Crowd surfing, moshing, and stage diving are undertaken entirely at your own risk. Comply with instructions from security and safety personnel at all times.
• Alcohol: Alcohol is available for purchase on-site. Visibly intoxicated individuals may be refused further service and/or asked to leave the festival site.
• Ejection: We reserve the absolute right to remove any person from the festival site at our discretion. Ejected persons will not receive a refund.
• Reporting: If you witness or experience any unacceptable behaviour, please report it immediately to our Safety Team or any member of our staff.

7. Cancellation by Ticket Holder

If you wish to cancel your ticket, the terms of our Refund Policy apply in full. Refund amounts are determined by how far in advance of the event the cancellation is requested. Please refer to the Refund Policy page for a complete breakdown of applicable refund tiers, how to submit a refund request, and the ticket transfer process.

8. Cancellation or Postponement by the Organiser

• Full Cancellation: In the event that Joyful Craft Space is cancelled in its entirety by the Organiser, all ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket face value. Service fees may be non-refundable as determined by our payment processor.
• Postponement: If the event is postponed to a new date, tickets will automatically remain valid for the rescheduled date. Ticket holders who cannot attend the new date may request a full refund within 30 days of the postponement announcement.
• Partial Cancellation: If individual artists or performances are cancelled or changed, this does not constitute grounds for a ticket refund. The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the event programme.
• Force Majeure: Cancellation due to force majeure events (including natural disasters, pandemics, governmental restrictions, or acts of God) will be handled at the Organiser's discretion, and refund terms may differ from those stated in the standard Refund Policy. We will communicate any such changes directly to ticket holders.

9. Liability

Your safety is our priority, and we take extensive precautions to ensure a safe festival environment. However, please note the following:

• Personal Property: Joyful Craft Space is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property on or around the festival site. Please take care of your belongings and use designated secure storage where available.
• Personal Injury: We are not liable for personal injury or death at the festival, except where such injury or death is directly caused by our own negligence or that of our employees.
• Attendee Responsibility: You attend the festival entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for your own health and safety, and for the behaviour of any persons under your supervision.
• Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party vendors, contractors, or service providers operating on the festival site.
• Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under Japanese consumer protection law or other applicable legislation.

10. Intellectual Property

• All content on the Joyful Craft Space website and at the festival venue — including artist performances, stage designs, branding, and promotional materials — is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• Personal Photography: Attendees may take photographs and short video clips for personal, non-commercial use only.
• Professional Recording: Professional photography, videography, or audio recording of performances requires prior written permission from the Organiser and the relevant artist's management team.
• Commercial Use: Any commercial use of images, video, or audio captured at the festival without written authorisation is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

11. Privacy

Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that your data will be used for the purposes described therein, including ticket fulfilment, communications, and event safety.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the 東大阪市 District Court or the 東大阪市 Summary Court, as appropriate.

For EU/EEA residents, nothing in this clause affects your rights under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
